Genuine Health, Chocolate, Peanut Butter Smoothie

It's almost the end of January, have you been able to stick with your resolutions and goals? I know it can be hard to stay on track with eating better and staying fit, you've probably heard this a million times, "it's a lifestyle change" my friends it's true. To live a healthier life, you have to make changes and it's not easy. So if you're thinking of quitting because it's too hard or you're not liking the foods you're eating I'm here to help you with that. I don't consider myself to be a cook at all, I enjoy reading recipes and trying them out at home. I decided to change things up on the blog this year by bringing you some of my favorite and easy to make recipes. This week we're starting off with something super easy: Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana Smoothie!

If you're a chocolate lover, like myself you'll definitely enjoy making this at home. This specific recipe I found through Genuine Health. I first tried Genuine Health products at a kick boxing event, at Studio KO, located here in Toronto. We were put through an intense workout, treated to smoothies afterwards so of course I had the chocolate smoothie! Before our workout we learned about Genuine Health and it's benefits, for me it's been a great way to add healthy proteins back into my body after a workout. 

Ingredients you'll need:

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop Fermented Vegan Proteins+, chocolate flavor


  • Put all of the ingredients into the blender
  • Blend until a desired consistency
