Behind The Chair: Eva Molina

Happy Thursday friends! Today I am introducing you to a lovely friend I met through Instagram! Meet, Eva Molina, wedding blogger, she a sweet kind hearted person, always has a smile on her face, and is so great to be around. If you are engaged and need some inspiration, or helpful tips head over to her blog for all the help!

As usual, with my interviews I love to just chat while doing hair, so for Eva's hair I decided why not give her a bit of curls. It's a short bob, and she says she usually wears it straight, so I gave it a bit of a curl :) Afterwards, we went to the park for a walk and mini photoshoot.

1. Tell us a bit about what you do:

I am a certified wedding planner and wedding blogger at Love Eva.  My previous background involves sales and marketing and I have combined that with my wedding planning experience to create my little business.  I love finding talented professionals who pour their heart and soul into what they do and sharing their passion on my blog.

2. What inspired you to start your business & blog? What advice would you give to someone wanting to start their own business or blog?

Aside from the joy of helping couples plan their special day, one of my favorite things about this job is the incredible talent in the wedding industry. It is always such a treat to meet passionate and professional vendors and artists and I wanted to share their work and to be a resource for those lucky souls in love who are looking to plan their perfect wedding. My goal with the blog is to share inspiring love stories, a new voice and perspective on what it means to celebrate love, while at the same time offering couples relevant information that they can use during the wedding planning process.
What I would say to someone starting their own business/venture is to focus on their own path, it doesn’t matter what others are doing, it matters what you are doing.  It is your journey.  It is so easy to start comparing yourself to others, but we are all on different paths – do not compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. Also, reach out to others. This has been a big lesson for me in the past few months.  Sometimes we feel like we can do it all on your own or are afraid of rejection or what others will think. Bu,t we are all here working towards goals and trying to make it in the world.  Share your experiences.  Reach out.  You never know what beautiful friendships and collaborations await on the other side.

3. Favorite quote:

“There was a flower in her heart, it just needed more room to bloom.  And when she let it free, she showed the world that sometimes the most beautiful things can grow in the darkest of places without the need for light." R. M. Drake.

4. I have to ask, what is your favorite way to wear your hair? ;)

Right now my hair is in a bob (and I am working on letting it grow), so a little wave now and then is how I style it.  But I LOVE braids or a loose bun when my hair is a bit longer, simple chic is the best!

Have a lovely day friends, and we'll see you next week! xo
